April 3/6th – To Rat Island, down Swin, round Sheppy, Havengore.

  East Mersey and club 110 miles

12th- To Mersea, round islands, home via Bradwell creek 25 miles

15/21st – Colne Pt – Walton backwaters, Landmere. Twizzle

  Great Oakley dock – Ipswich – Manningtree – Holbrook bay

  Colchester – Rat Island -Brightlingsea – B.S.C. 130 miles

3rd/6th May – to St Peters- Burnham, Lion Creek – West Mersea

  Ma.ldon – Osea for night – Nass Beacon and club. 75 miles

19th – Sail on tide to Maldon

25th – Fortieth anniversary of launch of Shoal Waters

26/30 – St Peters – Dengie coast at HW springs – Pyfleet –

  Round Cobmarsh, PackingShed & Northey islands

  – Lawling creek overnight - Thirslet and BSC 50 miles

3rd Oct/5 – Ray I – Wivenhoe – Ray I – Club. (strong NW) 44 miles

10/12 – Roach – Stow Maries Ck -BSC 60 miles

 Total for the 2003 season = 1544 nautical miles.

Total cost £804 .61 = 52.24 pence per mile

Nearly sixty nights on board = £13.41 per night, plus of course food, which we have to buy anyway.
